Charitable Organizations

Every year, the VSO supports numerous not-for-profit organizations through donations of ticket vouchers, which are used for fundraising activities such as auctions and raffles.* In addition, the VSO provides complimentary concert tickets to charitable organizations such as Big Brothers & Big Sisters, Boys & Girls Clubs, YWCA, and United Way for distribution to children and adults who otherwise would not be able to attend a live symphony performance.

To request a donation of vouchers or tickets, please complete the form below at least FOUR WEEKS IN ADVANCE of the fundraising event or concert date, and attach a copy of your request on official organizational letterhead.^† Requests received by mail, email, or phone will not be considered.

Please note that, in order to reduce costs, successful applicants will be expected to collect donations from the VSO's Administration Office during regular business hours.

* Ticket vouchers can be redeemed for best-available seating at regular series concerts in the VSO's current season. This offer excludes Dress Circle seating at the Orpheum Theatre and all Special concerts. Other restrictions may apply.

^† To qualify for a donation the applicant must be a registered non-profit organization whose programs and services benefit the communities of Metro Vancouver (click here for a map). The VSO encourages requests from organizations that will use donations for fundraising purposes, rather than as gifts or door prizes for event attendees or volunteers. Approval of all donation requests is solely at the discretion of the VSO.
